Some of the Gardena Valley Democratic Club contingent in the Gardena Cinco de Mayo Parade carrying "PROTECT MEDICARE & SOCIAL SECURITY" signs and banners on Saturday, May 4th, 1996. The cars carrying Club members were also decorated with the signs. Other Club members carried signs calling for a raise in the minimum wage, protecting the environment, and many other Democratic issues.
