Dear «Title» «Last Name»,

The Gardena Valley Democratic Club views itself as one of the
strongest grass-roots organizations of its kind in California.
The GVDC boasts a very large diverse and active membership. At
its last regular membership meeting the GVDC passed a motion
without dissension to oppose the "Team Act" proposed by the
republicans.

This proposed legislation will recreate "Company Unions" allowing
company involvement in the business of the union which represents
employees of "the Company." This concept is in direct conflict
with the ability of a union to represent its members fairly and
without company prejudice. The "Team Act" is without a doubt in
direct conflict with the concept of unionism itself.

The GVDC views the "Team Act" as a frontal attack on all unions
and future unions of this country. The GVDC strongly opposes the
"Team Act" and urges you to join our members in deed and thought
to its defeat.

Sincerely,

Doris Griffin, Corresponding Secretary Pablo Cataño, President
