(This chart was originally done for a 1994 newsletter that was never completed due to overtime GOTV work, but was distributed at our Club meetings and Headquarters. A version was passed out at the 1995 Democratic State Convention.)

The caption for the white arrows, which are hard to read at 72 dpi, say "Democratic President," and show how the deficit decreases when a Democrat occupies the White House. The larger caption in the center, showing the huge deficit increases from 1981 through 1986 (when Bob Dole was the Senate Majority Leader, by the way), reads:
